College Selection and Admission

The Keys to College - Finding the right college, a 1-3 hr., multi-media presentation for schools & libraries.

Projected by 2003:
Offering up to 48 sessions per year, total no. attending - 3,500

Offering up to 5 sessions per year, total no. attending - 250
Students apply at more colleges, with better applications and increased admission offers.

College Financial Aid

The Money Maze - Finding and apply for college financial aid, a 1-3 hr., multi-media presentation for schools & libraries.

Offering up to 48 sessions per year, total no. attending - 10,000

Active in 1999:
Offering up to 15 sessions per year, total no. attending - 3,100
More students apply for aid, with better applications and offers meeting actual need.

College Scholarships

The Scholarship Market - Finding and apply for college scholarships, a 1-3 hr., multi-media presentation for schools & libraries.

The Pacific Northwest Scholarship Guide

A 500 page directory of scholarships available to students from the Pacific Northwest. CPN also produces 5 other regional Guides in cooperation with sister organizations nation-wide. 

Projected by 2003:
Distributing up to 5,000 per year in the Pacific Northwest, 15,000 nation-wide

Distributing up to 2,000 per year in the Pacific Northwest
Students apply for more scholarships, with better applications and award results. Scholarship organizations efficiently promote awards.

Beyond High School Journal

A bi-monthly journal on college planning, providing high school students and parents with up-to-date information on college selection, admission, financial aid and scholarships. 

Projected by 2003:
Reaching 250,000 students and parents throughout the Pacific Northwest

Distribution in 1999:
Reaching up to 60,000 students and parents throughout the Pacific Northwest 

Students and parents are able to navigate the college admission and financial aid process more effectively.

College Planning Now

A comprehensive online college planning resource for high school/college students and their families. The site includes the Pacific Northwest Scholarship Guide Online, admission and financial aid tools, workshop calendar, BHS Online and other college Planning links. Taped and real-time presentations on-demand are available. CPN also produces 5 other regional Online Guides in cooperation with sister organizations nation-wide. 

Projected by 2003:
Monthly volume is 100,000 visits, 2 million hits. Visits from Pacific NW locations are 35% of volume with an additional 55% from the rest of the U.S. and 10% from international locations. Two percent of visitors provide voluntary demographic data indicating that 70% are between the ages of 14-24.

Volume in 1999:
Monthly volume is 4,400, 88,000 hits. Demographics are the same as projected above.  

Students and parents are able to gain instant access to college admission and financial aid information and tools, increasing college enrollment and funding oportunities. Via e-mail, families can receive direct college planning advice and referals.
